Ok, today wasn’t so great…

We got rained out!  We made it to the Smithsonian, and were walking up to the National Archives when we were told that the building was closed “until further notice”.  They were pumping 4 feet of water out of the basement.  We were disappointed, but tried to move on so we went back to the Natural History Museum to check out another IMAX.  There we found out that most of all the Smithsonian Museums were closed because of the flooding.  So we turned back to the subway to get back to the hotel.  We stopped on the way back to the hotel to eat and then headed back.  We hope to swim later, if the pool is open… otherwise, it is a lazy day.
