This weekend we offered to watch our little cousin.  She is 10 and LOVES to hang out with us (read: me).

So, since this is a public blog, lets just call her Mary.  Mary can sometimes be a bit, um, shall we say… ’headstrong’, but is generally a great addition to our weekend and we all have a great time. 
This weekend is shaping up to be no exception.

Our neighbors have two girls ages 9 and 6 who seem to get along really well with Mary, so we decided to have them over today so they could hang out.  After we got rained out of swimming (because of lightning) we ended up just hanging out in our house doing many, many activities. Michelle actually made a box of them.  The idea was that she had like 100 pieces of paper with different activities on them in the box.  The girls took turns pulling activities from the box, and if they liked the idea they did it.  That little box kept us occupied for over 6 hours!  The “make your own pizza” session kept them busy for at least an hour…  The session a bit later where they made ice cream sundays kept them bouncing off the walls for the next few hours!!!  The girls are all sleeping over tonight and I have to say that the estrogen overload is finally gettin to me!
